Serious books: Two non-fiction books by prominent journalists -- The New York Times' Thomas Friedman and The Washington Post's Bob Woodward -- enter USA TODAY's Best-Selling Books list this week, but neither could outsell the teen vampire romance series by Stephenie Meyer, who continues to cling to four of the top five spots. Friedman's Hot, Flat and Crowded: Why We Need a Green Revolution, and How It Can Renew America is No. 6. Woodward's The War Within: A Secret White House History 2006-2008 is No 7. Both authors have enjoyed higher debuts on the list: Woodward's Bush at War made its debut at No. 2 in 2002 and Plan of Attack at No 1. in 2004. Friedman's Longitudes and Attitudes: Exploring the World After September 11 entered at No. 4 in 2002.
