This from New York Jets quarterback Brett Favre on Wednesday: No, no and no.
No, he didn't call the Detroit Lions to offer inside information about his former team, the Green Bay Packers, before they played the Lions on Sept.14. Favre says the Lions called him.
No, he didn't provide then-Lions general manager Matt Millen with game-planning fodder.
And no, he would never try to stick it to the Packers, with whom he played for 16 years, before being traded in August.
Favre, responding to a recent FoxSports.com report, spent 15 of his 18-minute press briefing at Florham Park, N.J., talking about what he did and didn't do.
