2. In some business programs, students may not be required to take intermediate microeconomics. Many business programs may alternatively require students to take labor economics or money and banking. Other programs may require managerial economics, business and government, or the history of economic thought. It is hypothesized that if the texts from these classes were surveyed, the results would be similar to those developed surveying intermediate micro-economic texts.
