Workout for Hope '98

Make your personal workout impact the lives of millions during April and May. Join Workout for Hope and help the City of Hope National Medical Center and Beckman Research Institute find a cure for HIV/AIDS and related cancers.

To participate, collect donations and workout with others in fitness events occurring in 55 cities across the country. All Workout for Hope activities, including aerobics, step, cycling, kick boxing, martial arts and more are led by professional instructors. Participants raise a minimum of $50 in sponsorship or self-donation.

City of Hope is conducting innovative gene therapy research that could delay or prevent the development of AIDS in HIV-infected individuals. By the year 2000, an estimated 10-15 million children worldwide will by orphaned by HIV/AIDS, according to the City of Hope.
