American Fitness, March, 1998 by Ayn Nix
The first primary certification workshop held in Baja, California, Mexico took place last November 21-23 at Acropolis Gym. The AFAA certification team heading the workshop included Lourdes Alarcon, an examiner and interpreter from San Diego, California; Lauri Reimer, a certification specialist from Santa Monica, California; and Lloyd Lewis, an examiner from San Diego.
In recognition of the groundbreaking workshop, a plaque was presented by Alarcon to Reimer, and Rafael Leon and Vicente Rodriguez of Promociones Internacionales Fisico Educativos, an organization that has hosted events throughout Mexico for the past six years.
