Radio Fit - radio fitness program

American Fitness,  March, 2000

Wake up, radio listeners. Finally, there's a fitness program surfing across the airwaves: Radio Fit America. It's a one-hour program developed by personal trainer and fitness industry veteran Tracy Brennan that includes a half-hour exercise routine, interviews with top medical and fitness experts and cheerful, motivational banter. The show also makes use of home equipment like treadmills and stairclimbers.

"If the weather's nice and the mood strikes us, we'll even send our listeners outside," says Brennan. "Because of our format, women can strap on a Walkman and take us with them for a walk in the park." Part of the appeal of the show is the listener can't see what Brennan looks like. Therefore, there's no ideal image projected on a screen. "The listeners make me whatever they want me to be. They create what they need," says Brennan.
