A step in the right direction - Fitness & Exercise

American Fitness, March-April, 2004 by D.K. Howe

A University of Tennessee at Knoxville study published in the August 2003 issue of Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise validated the accuracy of the Walk4Life[TM] LS2525 pedometer for research studies. Surpassing industry standards that allow a 3 percent error (i.e., 3 steps out of 100), the Walk4Life[TM] LS2525 consistently delivers a minimal 1 percent permissible error (i.e., 1 step per 100.) "We devote a lot of time, money and effort into designing our pedometers and making sure they are accurate and will provide a strong performance. So, it's not a surprise our LS2525 fared so well in this study," said Andrew Carver, founder and chief executive officer of Walk4Life.

Besides counting your footsteps, the LS2525 offers mileage conversion, exercise duration, calories expended and a standard clock. The Walk4Life[TM] LS2525 can be purchased at www.walk4life.com or by calling (888) 422-1806.
