Want to convince kids not to smoke? Well, give them permission to kick butts--cigarette butts, that is. In an effort to make teens aware of smoking-related issues, the American Lung Association of Los Angeles County has issued the Kick Butts ad campaign designed for middle and high school students. A "vulture billboard" has been installed on Garey Avenue and Alvarado Street in Pomona, California, and slide advertisements are being shown in movie theaters. In both ads, four large vultures sit atop a wall, looking down at a group of teenagers smoking cigarettes.
