Targeting problem areas by encouraging health and fitness awareness, especially in the "fattest cities," Omron Healthcare, Inc., a manufacturer of healthcare products, is sponsoring the Fittest Cities Project[TM] with Men's Fitness magazine. Five years ago, Men's Fitness began researching and reporting Americans' weights.

For the third year in a row, Houston ranked as the Fattest City, followed by Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia and St. Louis. Events will be held in 12 cities in the United States, allowing people to have their body composition measured, blood pressure checked as well as receive exercise and healthy eating information. Omron will supply the events with body fat analyzers and blood pressure monitors. For more information, visit www.omronhealthcare.com.
