To acknowledge higher learning institutions whose strength and conditioning educational programs meet minimal requirements, the National Strength and Conditioning Association has developed an Educational Recognition Program

American Fitness,  Sept-Oct, 2003

To acknowledge higher learning institutions whose strength and conditioning educational programs meet minimal requirements, the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) has developed an Educational Recognition Program. To qualify, the program must be part of a curriculum that offers a baccalaureate degree and the school must have an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist[R] (CSCS[R]) on their fulltime faculty.

If your college or university is interested in becoming recognized, contact Keith Cinea at (719) 632-6722 or kcinea@nsca-lift.org for an application and brochure. The application deadlines are January 1st and June 1st every year. For a complete list of recognized schools, call (800) 815-6826 or visit www.nsca-lift.org/ERP/default.asp.
