L.A. MOVES

Candice Copeland and Chet Vienne team up in this romping, squealing beach party workout. The two well known instructors have presented countless times at all the major aerobic conventions, and have an unparalleled following that has been begging for a take-home version of the two. They produced this tape on their own, without the big budget of the massive entertainment distributing companies. Reviewers observed several of the technical flaws that plague smaller productions, such as poor sound and bleeding colors. However, Copeland reports those annoying flaws have been eradicated in later releases. Two reviewers said they were basically "braced" for some mind-blowing choreography in this collaboration, but nothing particularly innovative or tricky occurred. The combinations are fairly long, but well constructed with each component expertly cued. Vienne and Copeland take turns with the combinations in a sort of dueling-banjo style and have fun with each other, even though it sometimes comes off a bit staged. On the whole, a safe, effective, easy-to-follow workout.
