Stretching

Muscle & Fitness, July, 2009 by Jim Stoppani, Mark Thorpe

Stretching It's best done at the end of a workout, not before, when your muscles are warmed up and more pliable. Also know this: Stretching doesn't prevent injury--especially when you use full range of motion for a particular exercise--but it does promote blood flow at the end of a training session (thus aiding recovery), and helps minimize the effects of delayed-onset muscle soreness.
