A reader for life

Muscle & Fitness, Sept, 2007 by John Davidson

I've been training for 27 years, have competed in bodybuilding contests intermittently and even won a few shows. But three years ago I became so engrossed in teaching and coaching that I got careless with my diet and found out what too many refined carbs can do. I began taking off the fat slowly last May and never suffered in the least, following a high-protein, moderate-fat and low-carb diet. On this plan I consumed more food and calories than before and still got lean. I'm now 40 years old and plan to compete again. I continue to draw inspiration and knowledge from M&F; I will forever be a lifelong reader
