Days Inn will better serve disabled - Brief Article

Accent on Living, Spring, 2000

Under an agreement with the Justice Department, Days Inn agreed to renovate hotels built in the last seven years to make them accessible. Days Inn has 1,900 hotels; 200 were built after Jan. 26, 1993. The corporation will establish a $4.75 million fund to loan to Days Inn franchise owners. The agreement settles five lawsuits filed in 1996 claiming five separate Days Inns violated the ADA.
