> Men who don't have to shave daily are more likely than their hairier brothers to suffer heart attacks and strokes, a high percentage of which prove fatal. A study in the February 2003 American Journal of Epidemiology found smooth-faced males were also more likely to smoke. The link between infrequent shaving and cardiovascular disease may also be affected by smoking and other social factors, University of Bristol scientists found, "but a small hormonal effect may exist."
