Not soy perfect - letters - Letter to the Editor
Vegetarian Times, June, 2003 by J. Gauvin
Regarding your article "The Truth About Soy" (April 2003), you neglected to mention that some of us are allergic to "the perfect food." Dairy was once promoted as the perfect food--bad news for those who are lactose intolerant. Now soy is "perfect," despite the fact that for some of us, it causes severe digestive problems. Nothing is perfect!

Your absolutely right. For those allergic to soy or dairy, try cholesterol-free Quorn products, made from a "microprotein" that is 50 percent protein and 25 percent fiber.
