Natural nuptials - trends - Organic Weddings - Brief Article

Vegetarian Times, June, 2003 by Akasha Richmond

It's June, and you know what that means--weddings! I love Organic Weddings (www.organicweddings.com), a Boston-based company created by Michelle Kozin to help couples plan Earth-friendly nuptials that include tree-free and recycled invitations, and gowns made from natural fibers and vintage glass beads.

Michelle offers honeymoon suggestions, complete with eco-travel Web sites and a link to the "Green" Hotels Association. This one-of-a-kind bridal registry lists air purifiers, water filters, recycled glassware and tabletop items made with organic fibers. Move over, Williams-Sonoma!
