Golden AGE - scoop - aged garlic extract found to inhibit development of cholesterol - Brief Article

Vegetarian Times, Dec, 2003

In a Pennsylvania State University's Nutrition Department study, aged garlic extract (AGE) has been shown to inhibit the development of cholesterol, strengthening the case for AGE as an alternative to cholesterol-lowering drugs with troublesome side effects. "AGE can help people who are working to reduce their cholesterol levels in conjuction with drug treatments," says lead researcher Yu-Yan Yeh, PhD, who presented his findings to the Experimental Biology meeting in San Diego in April 2003.

It can also "be useful for the general public to help achieve the desired cholesterol level of 200 or less."
