My favorite dessert at the EMA Awards was the heirloom apple tarts made by Christopher Blobaum, executive chef of the Surf & Sand Resort in Laguna Beach, California. As chef at the hotel's award-winning restaurant, Splashes, Blobaum is committed to using organic and artisan ingredients. Blobaum also has created a spa menu to complement the treatments offered at the resort's Aquaterra Spa.

I like the organic honey glow treatment and the sand scrub foot massage (888.869.7569; www.surfandsandresort.com).
