Robin Robertson, author of numerous vegetarian cookbooks including Vegan Planet and The Vegetarian Meat and Potatoes Cookbook, is one of my favorite writers. Her latest cookbook, Fresh from the Vegetarian Slow Cooker, is such a treat. "Pate" in a Crockpot? I can't believe it! There are recipes for soups, chilis and stews, of course, but others that will entice you include Cornbread-Topped Southwestern Pot Pie, Peach Butter and Tiramisu-Inspired Tofu Cheesecake.
