I just finished reading the April 2004 issue. It's the first time I've read VT, and of the 15 or so magazine subscriptions I have, this one will be at the top of the pile to read first. Although I'm not a vegan, I do try to eat healthily. Your magazine is filled with insightful information and more mouth-watering recipes than I can begin to cook. Keep up the great work.

I was glad to read your response to the letter from a reader having difficulty finding exotic ingredients ("Letters," April 2004). I was seriously considering canceling my subscription because I was encountering the same problem--too many exotic recipes and ingredients made it impractical to use your recipes on an everyday basis. Thanks for being responsive to all your readers rather than catering only to those that live in large metropolitan areas.
