Stick it to us

Vegetarian Times, Sept, 2004 by Susan Russell

I have to give you a stick for giving a carrot (July/August 2004) to Aresa Biodetection and its genetically modified plants, regardless of the purported benefits. When humans fail to protect and respect the biodiversity of other living creatures, whether it is their genetic integrity or their ecosystems (when such organisms are carelessly introduced), we leave behind an unpredictable, unnecessary mess for future generations. Please give more thought to what you endorse ... and to the potentially catastrophic consequences that biotech presents to this increasingly fragile planet.
