* DuPont Co. for failing for more than 20 years to report the potential health risks of perfluorooctanoic acid, an ingredient in the production of Teflon. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, DuPont violated federal law from 1981-2001 by not reporting the dangers of the ingredient, high levels of which may cause liver damage and reproductive problems in rats.
