Servings suggestion

Vegetarian Times, Oct, 2004 by Lesa Pennington

I have enjoyed VT for quite some time and appreciate your wonderful recipes. I know, too, that you listen to your readers, so I thought I would address a small complaint. Is there any way that you can be consistent in your magazine with regard to servings per recipe? In the July/August 2004 issue, there are recipes that serve 2, 4, 6, 12, 16 and even 40!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We do try to keep the recipes at 4 to 6 servings, although there are certain instances that require us to run recipes that serve a crowd (the blackberry acid from our July/August issue, for example, or a pot-luck dinner, another example) or that serve 2 (smoothies, for example). If you have questions about how to double, halve or modify the number of servings for any of our recipes, please call or email VT Food Editor Alexandra Greeley.
