We'll drink to that!

Vegetarian Times, Jan, 2005

Here's a cool way to enjoy your favorite wines long after the party's over. Simply pour the leftovers into ice cube trays, and freeze. Once the cubes are completely frozen, dump them into a freezer bag, and press out as much air as possible. To boost the flavor of casseroles and sauces, toss a frozen wine cube directly into the pot.

Use red in tomato sauces, stews or soups; add white in a foil package of vegetables you plan to grill. Drop a few wine cubes into your favorite drink: Red wine kicks up sangria, while white adds attitude to juice or club soda.
