Kent Bottles

Kent Bottles, MD is editor-in-chief for The Journal of Medical Practice Management. Bottles is president and CEO of the Grand Rapids Medical Education & Research Center for Health Professionals, professor of health professions and vice provost for health at Grand Valley State University, and professor and assistant dean, Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He is an accomplished author, health care futurist, keynote speaker, and health care consultant who has held leadership positions in academic medicine and biotechnology. Bottles is perhaps best known for his provocative keynote speeches and articles on a variety of topics including disruptive technologies, the future of medicine, leadership tactics for uncertain environments, and how chaos theory can inform managers. Published six times a year, the subscription-based Journal of Medical Practice Management focuses on advice for delivering high quality care, increasing patients' satisfaction and improving medical practices' profitability.
