* I love Chinese food, and to keep my weight in check, I eat it with chopsticks. Not only do I take smaller bites, but I feel full after eating half as much as I would have with a fork, all the while looking very chic.

* When I have the urge to continue eating, even when I'm full, I brush my teeth and apply teeth-whitening strips. I have to keep them on for half an hour, and by the time I take them off, the urge to eat has passed and I'm busy with another project.

* When I get home from the grocery store, I put snack foods, such as crackers and pretzels, into small, one-serving-sized zip-top plastic bags. Then when I'm hungry, I have one serving ready to go and I don't worry about eating too much.

* I've placed a photo of myself on my refrigerator from when I weighed 102 pounds more. Since I eat all my meals in my kitchen, seeing that photo reminds me how far I've come and takes away my urge to overeat.
