Your guy's roving eye
Shape, August, 2004 by Kathleen Doheny
If your relationship lacks fire, don't be surprised if your guy has a wandering eye. Regan Gurung, Ph.D., a professor of psychology at the University of Wisconsin in Green Bay, asked 42 men and 48 women to describe their relationships in terms of satisfaction, commitment and passion--and then rate the photographs of 12 young women.
The less passion both men and women felt in their relationships, the more attractive they rated the women. But here's the good news: The men with roving eyes had no plans to dump their current girlfriends or even be unfaithful. "As long as there is commitment, trust and love, roving eyes don't matter," Gurung says.
