One move to bring you closer

Shape, Sept, 2007

* IT HAPPENS TO THE MOST ROMANTIC OF COUPLES: The intense emotions--and mind-blowing sex--common in new relationships fade over time. How to keep the sexual spark alive? You have to work at it, says Lana Holstein, M.D., director of sexuality and vitality programs at the Miraval Resort & Spa in Tucson, Arizona.

In the resort's Partners, Pleasure, and Passion workshop, Holstein teachers this simple exercise, called Yab-Yum, from Tantric Buddhism for renewing a connection: Sit in your partner's lap (clothed or nude) facing him and wrap your legs around his back. Close your eyes, put your foreheads together, and breathe in unison for two minutes.
