Turning over a new leaf

Shape, Oct, 2004 by Hannah East

Thanks for "Are You a 'Flexitarian?'" (Eat Right News, July), which defined the new term describing carnivores who occasionally enjoy meatless meals and vegetarians who occasionally eat meat. I've been a vegetarian for more than 15 years, and I am amazed at how easy it is to find delicious, meat-free meals almost everywhere I go. I'm not surprised that meat eaters are being tempted by all the new faux-meat products in grocery stores--they are healthier than their cholesterol-laden counterparts.
