Do you Dread Getting Dressed? - Shape your Life

Don't let a poor body image make you start your day hiding from the light and mirrors. Turn your morning routine into a pleasant ritual with these tips from California State University, Northridge, professor Lori Salerno, M.S., R.D.:

* Create an environment reminiscent of less-pressured days when dressing was a pleasure, not a chore. Decorate your dressing area with pretty fabrics, soft lighting, fresh flowers and scented candles.

* Instead of avoiding mirrors, use them to focus on your best features. Then play them up. If you have great legs, for example, wear skirts and shoes that show them off.

* Wear sexy lingerie. Only you will know you're wearing it, but the face you project to the world will be a more confident one.
