A key group of advisors - National MS Society News - Brief Article

Inside MS, Spring, 2002

Who are all these smiling people? Together, they make up the National Programs Advisory Council (NPAC), a crucial team of Society volunteers. All of them have MS; all of them are professionals, many with health-care backgrounds.

When the Society is about to launch a new program, NPAC is there, providing the feedback that only people who have lived with MS can provide. Their input helps to shape much of what we do.

This year, NPAC's team includes: (front row, l-r) Tom Holtacker, Anne-Elizabeth Straub, Marla Chalnick (chair), Janie Brunette, Anita Nesci; (back row, l-r) Michelle Keating, Lisa Olenik (vice chair), Chuck Reek, Tom Houle, Vanessa Hodges. Not pictured: Teri Swimmer and Gil Broberg.

Thank you, NPAC!
