Golden Corral Nets Bass Shops for 'Fisherman's Friday' - restaurant co-promotion with Bass Pro Shops - Brief Article

RALEIGH, N.C.--Golden Corral and Bass Pro Shops are co-promoting the restaurant chain's "Fisherman's Friday" special buffet. Through April, diners will receive a $5 gift certificate to Bass Pro Shops and may enter a national sweeps with the chance to win a $20,000 Nitro bass boat. Restaurants, with POP displays promoting the buffet, certificate and sweeps, have the option to run a local sweeps with fishing-related prizes or a kids-oriented sweeps with a focus on boat safety.

TV spots by Richards/Gravelle, Dallas, will air in 35 Golden Corral DMAs, and Bass Pro will include a 30-second promo spot in its daily radio feature, Outdoor World.
