National Geographic Opens Photo Booking Office

NEWYORK--The National Geographic Society, looking to extend its brand name and activities, has opened an Image Sales office to actively promote the availability of its photographers for assignment work to the U.S. advertising community. Efforts will center on original ad and corporate assignments, plus sales from photo archives.

Recent campaigns handled by National Geographic photographers include work for Ford trucks, Ralph Lauren, Audi and United Airlines.
