Pepperidge Farm Razes Mill Logo, Adopts Modern Home

Brandweek,  Oct 26, 1998

> NORWALK, CONN.--Looking to make Pepperidge Farm more attractive to new users, the Campbell Soup unit is rolling out packaging with a new label that changes its 35-year-old old mill icon into a contemporary house that today's consumers can better identify with. The change, handled by Landor, N.Y., maintains much of the former logo's strengths and equities but, "people feel the new house is part of today's world," said Pepperidge Farm exec Edie Anderson.
