Toyota, Lexus Go Online for Latest Consumer Efforts

TORRANCE, CALIF--Toyota's Toyota and Lexus divisions both plan new Internet campaigns this week. Lexus will invite online participants in the "IS 300 Sufficiently Radical Contest" to design their own commercials for the new, entry-level luxury sedan as part of a vehicle giveaway Winners will be announced June 29 during ABC's Who Wants to Be a Millionaire show.

Toyota, meanwhile, will pair with online greeting card companies to sponsor a free, virtual interactive plant for Mother's Day Children can email moms the executable file from greeting card sites that will launch a Sienna minivan across the screen and deliver flowers from its sliding door.
