Buick Wraps Up TV Test-Drive Lure, Extends Online Offer

> DETROIT--General Motors Buick division will extend the Internet portion of its Century Challenge program another month in the face of solid conquest sales (Brandweek, March 6) despite Century sales lagging behind last year's pace in April. TV spots featuring comedian Thom Sharp ambushing owners of competitive vehicles have ended as scheduled but the automaker will continue to offer its $50 test drive incentives online which also feature Sharp's image and taunts.
