Brandweek, May 21, 2001

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO.--The United States Olympic Committee last week unveiled a new identity for the 2002 Olympic and Paralympic winter teams that will compete next year in Salt Lake City. The USOC has created a consistent look designed to win greater appeal from the American public. The new marks will be a component of team competition and casual apparel as well as merchandise and collateral materials.

The design also will be incorporated into USOC publications, its Web site and hospitality decor, and will be available for use by sponsors and suppliers.
