NEWS ABOUT US: Michael Marchesano has been named president/CEO of VNU Business Media, effective June 29. Howard Lander, evp of BPI and president of its music and literary groups, which includes Bill board, has been appointed COO, a new post. Marchesano, who replaces John Wickersham, has been Bill Communications' CEO since August 1999. Additionally BCI and BPI will no longer exist as separate entities but will be known as VNU Business Publications USA. VNU publishes Brandweek, Adweek and Mediaweek.
