Blue Men Turn Green to Tout Intel's Pentium III Processor

Brandweek, Oct 9, 2000

SANTA CLARA, CALIF.--Intel uses zany performance artists The Blue Man Group for a TV campaign backing the company's Pentium III processor. The execution, via MessnerVetere Berger McNamee Schmetterer/Euro RSCG, New York, shows Blue Man hurling green paintballs against a large white wall until one of them gets the idea to paint himself green and catapult himself against the wall.

Green slashes spell out the Roman numeral III for Pentium III. An Intel rep said three other executions are due; there is no print component.
