THOMASVILLE, N.C.--Thomasville Furniture is launching a new ad effort via Long Haymes Carr of Winston-Salem, N.C., that touts its arts and crafts inspired Mission Arts Collection of furniture to married, college-educated, professional adults 30-54 with household incomes of $50,000-plus. A TV spot, "Bite To Eat," is running on network cable shows including A&E, Lifetime, HGTV and others.

Three print ads, which break next month, feature the furniture with headlines such as "Inspired by a time when a mouse was something you coaxed with cheese" and "From a time when men were from earth and women were too. "The print buy includes American Home Style & Gardening, Better Homes & Gardens and O, The Oprah Magazine.
