Market research firm ACNielsen last week acquired Media Monitoring Services, a top provider of advertising measurement in the United Kingdom. With headquarters near Ascot, England, MMS generated revenues last year of $10 million, tracking ad activity across print, TV, radio, direct mail, cinema and outdoor channels.
