Intellisync Anywhere will continue to redefine the business role of interactive pagers and smartphones, as well as Palm Computing Platform Products, by making them powerful, cost-effective and tightly integrated extensions of the corporate enterprise. The open Intellisync platform lets users synchronize the critical data between both wired and wireless handheld devices and the vast stores of information found in corporate databases. Intellisync Anywhere for Microsoft Exchange uniquely provides remote and LAN-based synchronization of the Palm Computing Platform with Microsoft Exchange, a mission-critical enterprise groupware application.
Nettech's Smart IP allows organizations to easily add wireless connectivity to their mobile applications. Smart IP provides reliable, optimized wireless data communication and will allow Intellisync Anywhere to run efficiently over all wireless networks. This optimized wireless performance also reduces airtime expenses and extends device battery life. In the future, Smart IP will support Puma's recently announced Vulcan solution. Vulcan will produce a new class of enterprise solutions for secure, manageable and controlled access to mission critical corporate data from handheld mobile devices.
"Enabling individuals and corporations alike to wirelessly access and synchronize critical information has been a logical next step for Puma," said Puma President and CEO Brad Rowe. "Partnering with Nettech allows us to connect mobile users in real-time over a wide range of wireless data networks."
"We see a dynamic shift taking place in the wireless data market. What traditionally has been strong in more business operations-oriented markets, is now shifting across all industry segments," said Boris Fridman, CEO of Nettech. "Puma's wireless offerings are a natural extension of this shift. With Nettech and Puma, business professionals have a best-of-breed solution for synchronizing and accessing their vital information from anywhere, at anytime, which will significantly increase productivity from the field."
