With the announcement of the first complete Voice over IP communications system running on a Linux operating system at the LinuxWorld Conference and Expo in San Jose, Vovida Networks and Quicknet Technologies Inc. have demonstrated their innovative leadership in Voice over IP.
"Quicknet's award-winning Internet LineJACK and Internet PhoneJACK were selected for our freeBX product announcement and demonstration because of their existing hardware support for Linux," said Luan Dang, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Vovida Networks. Quicknet Technologies is among the first CTI technology leaders to pioneer Linux for Voice over IP (VoIP) use.

freeBX is a fully scalable, flexible IP telephony system that meets today's toll quality communications requirements in both enterprise and residential environments.
