Check Point Software Announces Major Milestone With Over 10 Million New VPN Users in 1999 - licenses over 10 million VPN-1 SecuRemote clients - Company Business and Marketing

Check Point Software Technologies Ltd., Wednesday announced that it has licensed over ten million new VPN-1 SecuRemote clients since the start of 1999. This represents an important milestone in the rapid deployment of the company's VPN-1 product line across enterprise, mid-range and service provider customers worldwide. SecuRemote enables mobile workers, telecommuters and extended workforces to seamlessly and securely connect to their corporate networks over the Internet.

VPN-1 SecuRemote is the remote access client software in Check Point Software's market leading VPN-1 product line. SecuRemote enables client-to-site remote access VPNs and represents a critical component of a corporation's overall secure Internet architecture. SecuRemote is available for Microsoft's Windows 95, 98 and NT platforms. Earlier this week, Check Point also announced that SecuRemote would be available on the Microsoft Windows 2000 platforms.
