Nortel Networks Thursday solidified industry leadership in Internet Telephony solutions when BT's Spanish subsidiary BT Tel, announced the first live telephone calls on one of the world's largest Internet Telephony IP networks which was supplied by Nortel Networks in under 6 months.

Thursday's announcement reinforces Nortel Networks No. 1 position in the service provider Internet Telephony market. Nortel Networks is delivering the broadest portfolio of next generation Internet Telephony solutions to wireline, wireless and cable service providers and enterprises in order to simplify voice and Internet access for businesses and consumers.
