exPairGain Appoints Stephen Pallavicini Vice President of Marketing Services - Company Operations

PairGain Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: PAIR), a leader in broadband access systems, Tuesday announced the appointment of Stephen Pallavicini as vice president marketing services and communications. A seasoned high-tech industry executive, Mr. Pallavicini assumes responsibility for shaping PairGain's strategic marketing and corporate messaging as well as directing the Company's overall marketing services programs. Mr. Pallavicini joined PairGain in May.

Stephen Pallavicini spent 10 years with Newbridge Networks in a variety of executive roles during the Company's growth from a start up into a billion-dollar corporation. He most recently served as vice president, administration, contracts and operations. His tenure also included terms as assistant vice president marketing; assistant vice president product management and marketing support; and assistant vice president international marketing. Mr. Pallavicini received his MBA from George Washington University, Washington DC and his bachelor's degree in economics from Loyola College, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
