Nextel's subsidiaries have no obligation to enter into any specific number of co- location site leases with Crown Castle, and are not subject to any penalties under the MLA. Favorable below market lease rates, however will apply to all leased sites if Nextel and its subsidiaries enter into co-location site lease arrangements for at least 1,264 sites owned or managed by Crown Castle over the next three years.
