Cambridge Telcom Report, Oct 11, 1999
ALLTEL Monday announced an enhanced version of its ALLTEL ScoreCard product that utilizes web browser-based technology. ScoreCard 2.0, a performance measurement tool, is the first application delivered through an ALLTEL-established lending portal.
ALLTEL plans to begin delivery of all of its mortgage products through the newly developed gateway through which information is passed via the Internet.
Via the Internet, ALLTEL ScoreCard delivers customized summary information regarding loan origination and servicing activities from multiple data sources, including ALLTEL's Mortgage Servicing Package (MSP) or InterAct products. Using online analytical tools, users have the ability to chart and graph data, designate review times and immediately access data necessary to make comprehensive decisions.

"Senior managers can now have critical performance-related information at their fingertips, either in the office, at home or on the road," said Rob Lee, executive vice president for ALLTEL's Residential Lending Solutions organization. "Scorecard's enhanced features allow mortgage servicers to provide better customer service and ultimately increase profitability, by supporting advanced analysis of multiple loan categories, including general portfolio, cash, default, escrow and investor functions."
ScoreCard 2.0 was developed using ALLTEL's lending portal technology, enabling products to be delivered and accessed using browser-based technology. The system is adaptable to multiple application and data designs and allows multiple delivery methods, according to Lee.
"The added functionality in Scorecard 2.0 helps position institutions to meet expanding business needs," Lee said. "By delivering applications through a common, portal-delivery architecture, we provide an easier method of navigation between applications."
