Quest Net Corp. announced Tuesday that it has hired Rebecca J. Del Medico as its new President/Chief Operating Officer. Del Medico, a practicing attorney in South Florida has 13 years experience counseling public companies in the areas of operations, mergers and acquisition, and contract negotiations as well as SEC and NASDAQ compliance.

Del Medico stated: "I am excited about joining the management of Quest. The main focus of our operations will be our wireless services. We believe that our concept of a Smart Building, a completely hi-tech, wired, and wireless Internet Voice and Data Building is the perfect vehicle to package and market all of our telecommunication services, eventually including long distance. We have recently hired a Director of Sales and are expanding our marketing and sales department to aggressively market our Smart Buildings to commercial and residential buildings and schools and universities in South Florida. In addition, we are also expanding our technical support department to provide our customers with prompt responses to their technical needs."
Quest currently provides Internet Connection (Access), Hosting, E-Commerce, and Search Engine Advertising Services and has completed three Smart Buildings in South Florida. According to Del Medico, the company's policy will be one of managed growth. "We intend to concentrate our management, sales and marketing efforts on providing services in Florida, gradually expanding to other geographic areas."
Last week Quest announced the implementation of its $9.95, no frills, Internet dial up connection service for Broward, Dade and West Palm Beach County Florida.
Based in Miami, Quest Net Corp. is a provider of secure, full-service global Internet and Intranet broadband digital networking solutions for businesses and individuals. Quest Net is one of the largest regional Internet Service Providers (ISP). It also offers dedicated high-speed Internet access, metropolitan and wide area network data transport services, including virtual private networks to several commercial clients and other ISP's and Wireless Internet Connections at speeds of up to 3 Mbps, and a distance of 20 miles and on a 2.4 Ghz and 5.8 Ghz spectrum.
Quest Net offers one of the fastest and cleanest routing systems for the transfer and delivery of voice, video and data streams at speeds ranging from 64 Kps to speeds of up to 45 Mbps.
